SCRAPBOOKING WORKSHOP WITH DESIGNER DIANA LINDA, MUMBAI, ANDHERI

An exceptional intense 1 day workshop in which participants will learn how to make a scrapbooking mini album from scratch.

They will learn the specificities of stenciling, stamping, distressing, folding and much more.

Scrapbooking is an artistic method of preserving, presenting, and arranging personal and family history in the form of a book, box, or card. Typical memorabilia include photographs, printed media, and artwork. Scrapbook albums are often decorated and frequently contain extensive journal entries or written descriptions. Scrapbooking started in the United Kingdom in the nineteenth century.

After the workshops, the. Participants will be able to make cards, albums, pockets and tags using stamping, stenciling, collage.

ABOUT THE MENTOR

Diana Linda is doing collage and scrapbooking since more than 10 years, and using them regularly in her garments and accessories collection.

Educated in Fashion Design ( Bsc, Msc), in Journalism and communication mass medias ( MA), in Philosophy ( BA, MA, MPHIL) and in Photography (diploma) she currently pursues her PHD with the Department of Design, Banasthali University, with the topic: Fashion Sustainability and Women Empowerment in the design process of the Indian Fashion Education.

Presently along with the coordination of projects in her Ngos ReCreate, she has since twelve years her own sustainable design label Diana Linda and she is or has been a visiting faculty in design institutes and universities ( SNDT,SOFT, Banasthali, Avantika)

WHAT IS UNIQUE?

• Everything will be provided for you to start scrapbooking but you can bring your favorite Scrap paper and old magazines if you wish (optional)
