Saribar Waterfalls Trekking + Riverside Camping by Discover Dediapada

Verai mata temple, Near rest house, Dediapada

Trek details (approx):

Distance: 12 km (two way)

Difficulty: Medium

Duration: 8 hr

Elevation: 600 ft – 1200 ft

Path: Mostly through the river. This is unlike regular treks where we gain significant height at the end .

Base camp: River side. Approx 40 km from Dediapada (2 hr).

Notes:

- Reporting is Saturday evening

- Toilets are available

- Transportation to base camp (Approx 60 km from Dediapada, 2hr) is not included in fee. You will need to bring your vehicle or at least you will need to reach to Dediapada. From Dediapada to base camp, transportation can be arranged at additional fee or local transport can be used.

Detailed Itinerary:

Saturday:

2:00 pm – Reporting at Verai Mata temple, Dediapada (Near Govt Rest house )

2:15 pm – Leave for Base camp.

3:00 pm – Halt at Kokam

4:00 pm – Reach Base camp.

- Soup will be served on arrival.

6:30 pm - Light Dinner.

- Dinner- followed by group activity

- Barbeque + Music

Sunday:

6:00 am – Wake up.

7: 00 am – Tea + Breakfast

8:00 am – Pack Lunch

9:00 am – Start trek

12:00 pm – Reach first waterfall (Lunch point).

2:00 pm – Start return trek

2:30 pm – Halt at second waterfall en route.

5:00 pm – Reach Saribar village.

- Light Dinner will be served.

- Trekkers can leave for home.

Dish, spoon and bowl will be provided.

Tents on sharing basis(2/3) with sleeping bags and rugs.
