About

Sandhan Valley:

is one of the longest canyon in Sahyadri which
is around 250 ft. deep carved by water, located in Nagar
district close to Ratangad fort and surrounded by AMK,
Kalasubai and Ajoba mountain range.
Date: 05 to 07 February 2016. (Friday to Sunday).
Location: Samrad Village, Near Bhandardara, Approx. 95km
from Nashik, approx. 65 km from Igatpuri.
Level: Moderate(technical).
Delight in Camp fire, sleep under dark sky full of stars,
pleasant winter wind, 2-3 repelling location in full descend
valley trek.
Cost: 2900/-.
Cost Inclusion:
1. Transportation by private vehicle (Sangli to Sangli).
2. All meals (Sea details below).
3. Rappelling & Technical expertise charges.
Cost Exclusion:
1. Dinner of Friday.
2. Anything other than mentioned above in inclusion.
Trek Schedule:
Day 1 :
05 February 16
1. Departure from Sangli at 08 PM
Day 2 : 06 February 16
1. Reach Samrad early morning.
2. Breakfat in Samrad Village around 8:00AM.
3. Proceed to trek of Sandhan Valley with rappelling and water
crossing at 09:00 AM.
4. Lunch in-between the descend of sandhan valley.
5. Reach to camp location in deep forest and take rest at 05
PM.
7. Dinner with Camp fire at 08 PM.
Day 3 : 07 February 16
1. Wake-up call at 07:00 AM.
2. Breakfast and proceed towards Samrad village via Karoli
ghat trek.
3. Lunch at Samrad Village
4. Leave for Sangli
5. Dinner in between route
6. Reach Sangli by 10 PM.
(One hour before/late).
Things to carry:
1. 2 lit of water. (rather the water is potable over there).
2. Trekking/Sport shoes.
3. Extra pair of clothing.
4. Snacks.
5. Personal medical kit.
6. Good bedding Sleeping Bag, Windcheater/Sweater/
headscarf(As the winter is started).
7. Torch with extra pair of batteries.
Things strictly prohibited.
1. Plastic plates/Use and throw plastic things.
2. Smoking and Drinking.
3. Littering.
Please note that this area is under the jurisdiction of Govt of
Maharashtra, Forest Department and you are bound to its rules
and regulations.
Everyone has to follow the instruction given by the camp in
charge and instructors. You are coming on your own risk.
