Ratangad Trek

Ratangad as the name suggests Ratan (means Jewels). Ratangad is also called the Jewel of the forts. The fort is 400 years old. Ratangad is located on the boundary of Ahmednagar district and Thane district. Ratangad was among the personal favorite forts of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It overlooks the banks of Bhandardara dam.

Itinerary:

We will start with the 09:32 PM CSMT - Kasara Fast Local (Time table given below)

People may board the same local from the station of their convenience and meet our team members at Kasara Station.

09:50 PM - Dadar

10:00 PM - Kurla

10:06 PM - Ghatkopar

10:27 PM - Thane

10:51 PM - Dombivli

11:03 PM - Kalyan

11:17 PM - Titwala

11:37 PM - Asangaon

12:13 AM - Kasara

12:15 AM - Leave for Ratangad base village by local jeep.

Day 1

04:30 AM - Reach Pachnai and rest

05:30 AM - Breakfast

06:00 AM - Start hiking towards Ratangad post introduction session.

09:00 AM - Reach top of the fort and explore.

10:00 AM - Start to descend

12:30 PM - Reach base village

01:00 PM - Have a lunch

02:00 PM - Start return journey towards Kasara station

06:00 PM - Reach Kasara and leave for Mumbai with good memories
