Rtangad is loacted in Bhandardara region and is one of the oldest fort in the area. It is located on boundary of Nagar and Thane district. The temple located at base villege , called "Amriteshwar Temple" is oldest Hemadpanthi temple in that area and build in 8th century. One can see the view of AMK fort, Harishchandragad fort, and Patta from Top. The view of Dam build on Pravara river is 
mind blowing.
Main attraction of fort is natural rock peak with a cavity in it at the top which is called 'Nedhe' or 'Eye of the Needle'.
