Prabalmachi is located between Matheran and Panvel and comes under the Raigad District in the state of Maharashtra, India. Prabalmachi is a little hamlet hiding in the hills, so close to our megacity!

It offers a picturesque backdrop of two gigantic Sahyadri peaksPrabalgad and Kalavantin. Located very close to Mumbai, Prabalmachi serves as the base village for famous treks of Prabalgad and Kalavantin forts. The height of the Prabalmachi village is 390 meters above sea level. The fort was previously known as Muranjan until it was taken over and renamed by the Maratha forces under Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's rule.

04:30 pm Meet the Team at Panvel station and move towards Base Village of Prabalmachi

by local transport

05.00 pm Reach Base village.

05.15 pm Introduction round.

05.30 pm Start the trek, Reach plateau by 08.00 pm and explore the surrounding

10:00 pm Dinner time; enjoy local cuisines specially cooked for us followed by lots of fun. If tired can off to sleep in the tents.

05:00 am Wake up call, freshen up and get ready for the Kalvantin Trek.

07.00 am Reach Kalvantin fort & enjoy the sunrise

07.45 am Start Descending from Kalvantin to Prabalmachi

08.30 am Reach the Prabalmachi & have breakfast

09:30 am Start descending post breakfast.

11.00 am Start return journey towards Mumbai by local transport

12.30 pm Reach Mumbai and a promise to meet again.

Travel from Panvel to Base village and Return

Avoid wearing precious ornaments on an event, if possible

And a haversack or backpack to put all the above things to be carried, so hands are

free to help each other while trekking.

Sling bags / jholas / trolley bags etc not allowed on the event. Please pack accordingly

A basic toilet facility will be available at the base village.

We advise participants to not opt such event with any medical issues.

We don't recommend participants to reach the base village with own vehicle as

considering complicated route & respecting everyone's time.

Smoking/drinking/ Smoke up is strictly prohibited during the event. Anyone found will be expelled

from the event immediately.

Trek Leader decision will be final & the argument will be entertained.

Participants Safety is the prime concern for us and will not compromise for the same.

Trek India is not Responsible for any baggage or personal belonging loss/damage and

participant are responsible for the same.

Don't except VIP or Luxurious treatment, as we are going for the Trekking/camping, so be adventures and free.

In case of any unexpected change in weather or other unforeseen situations that are beyond our control and due to which camping may not be feasible, the operator will try their best to make alternate stay arrangements in the nearby homestay OR village (subject to availability).

If the event is cancelled we will refund Trek Amount Only.
