Some of the Goa's best speakers will be sharing their knowledge through the PechaKucha format. 

1. ANJALI MODY - FOUNDER, JOSMO

Anjali is a serial entrepreneur with a passion for design .She kindled her love for design under the incomparable guidance of Interior Guru Pinakin Patel and the Late Shri Dashrat Patel. After earning her degree in Industrial Design from RISD she honed her skills in Providence and New York before returning to Mumbai in 2010. Over the past 10 years Anjali has co-founding the acclaimed creative agency Skarma in 2010 as well as a bespoke design practice- Josmo in Late 2010 where she remains Founder and Creative Director. Josmo- her current focus has been on growing her 10 year old design practice that specialises in bringing good design within reach to a larger Indian audience. Throughout her career Anjali has established a philosophy centered on blending necessity with imagination. Through her efforts, Anjali is transforming the arena of design in India by adopting best practices, environmentally sound manufacturing and expression through design. Apart from her day job as furniture fanatic, she is an avid animal activist and provides support to animal shelters, animal rescue enthusiasts and the world of stray animals as a full time job.

3. RUTURAJ PARIKH - ARCHITECT, MATTER

Ruturaj Parikh is Founder and Director at MATTER - an architecture, design and publishing firm based in Goa that he co-founded with Maanasi Hattangadi in 2014. He was editor at Indian Architect & Builder Magazine and curator of three editions of the 361 Degrees conference.Ruturaj has served as the Director at Charles Correa Foundation where he led social projects and public forum initiatives. His firm Matter works in the interface between architecture and content consistently experimenting with new ways of engaging with the built environment.

4. VAISHNAVI PRATIMA - FOUNDER, VAISHNAVIPRATIMA

Vaishnavipratima is a self-taught designer, mother, an entrepreneur, traveler and an artist. She is a self- made interior aesthetic consultant. After years of personal experience in designing and re-designing her own home and helping out friends and family with their homes, in 2012 Vaishnavipratima decided to start out by helping others give their homes a makeover. It was in 2015 that she started designing furniture and by the following year she had set up her self titled interior studio in Lower Parel. Today the studio has exclusive, customized furniture made for Indian homes and offers consulting services for interior designing and home makeovers. Drawing inspiration from her travels and her unique sense of style and aesthetics, Vaishnavipratima has created studio-cum-store in North Goa to be a reflection of herself – full of creativity and warmth.

5. SHEFALI MOHNOT - FOUNDER, OORJA

A self thought Interior Designer who believes that dreams come true. With several years of experience in exquisite furniture designing, I established the store “Oorja” which focuses on handmade products by artisans all over India. Interior Designing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. With instinctive eye for beauty and assured sense of scale. Committed to design and complete the project tailored to the individual styles and needs.

6. MANISH GOSALIA - GOA KNOWLEDGE FOUNDATION, MANAGING TRUSTEE

Manish holds a Masters degree in International Business from the University of Queensland (Australia). A commerce graduate from Goa University, he has studied at India’s premier public school Mayo College, Ajmer.He is currently playing the role of an Angel Investor with a start-up venture 'Earthlings' that has a retail and online presence in Goa to promote organic and natural products from sustainable vendors across India.

8. DEVIKA MARTINS - RENOVATION SPECIALISTS, MARTINS GROUP

As a renovation specialist, I’m trying to convince the Goan community not to underestimate the binding power of lime plaster. After working in Europe and studying in Florence, Italy; I decided to move back to my hometown to try and restore as many old, Goan houses as possible. I try and conserve resources by utilising original wood beams, doors and flooring to keep historic characteristics alive in your home!
