Event Information
FORMAT
A timed Duathlon with an order Run-Cycle-Run. You can choose to compete as a Solo participant or in a Relay format of one runner and one cyclist.
DISTANCE IN THE ORDER OF EVENTS-
- 4.25 kms running on trail
- 25 kms cycling on a mix of tar and dirt road.
- 8.5 kms running on trail
- Open Men on Hybrid Bike
- Open Women on Hybrid Bike
- Above 40 Men on Hybrid Bike
- Above 40 Women on Hybrid Bike
- Open Men on MTB
- Open Women on MTB
- Above 40 Men on MTB
- Above 40 Women on MTB
RELAY RACE
RULES FOR PRIZES
FEES-
- Solo Race - Rs. 750/- per participant
- Relay Race - Rs. 1350/- per team
- Transport to the race venue - Rs. 300/-
- Cycle transport to the race venue - Rs. 300/- (Cycles will have to be handed over to us on Saturday evening at 5 pm near Mhatre Bridge, Kothrud)
- Cycle on rent (MTB only) - Rs. 600/- with helmet
WHAT IS INCLUDES IN FEES
- Timing Chip
- Finishers Medal
- Refreshments after the race
- Water and hydration support during the race
- First-aid and medical support during the race
- Anything not mentioned in the "What is included in fees" section
- Transport to the venue
- Cycles
- Cycle transport
IMPORTANT TIMINGS
- Bib collection - Saturday, 12th March from 9 am to 2 pm. (Venue to be conveyed later)
- Solo Race Flag off - Sunday, 13th March at 6.30 am
- Relay Race Flag off - Sunday, 13th March at 6:45 am
- All participants by default fall into OPEN category.
- If a participant from the 40+ age category wins in OPEN category, he / she will be awarded the prize in OPEN category. In this case, that position in the 40+ category will become void
- Top three athletes in all Solo category and top three teams in all Relay categories will be felicitated.
- The prize distribution ceremony will be held on the same day, same venue after the race.
- The number of ranks in each category will depend on the number of registered participants. Please note the following:
- If a category has only upto 5 entrants, then only the top prize will be given.
- If a category has more than 5 and upto 8 entrants, then the top two prizes will be given.
- If a category has more than 8 entrants, then the top three prizes will be given.
