PANGAEA consists of three professional musicians who met whilst guitarist Mike was living in New Delhi in 2019.The trio, which calls itself PANGAEA to reflect how music joins people across cultures performs a fusion of Indian and Western musical styles. They use songs, Hindustani and European Classical music as well as improvisation, effects and a range of compositional devices to create their own particular sound.
Mike Hogan
Works with a wide range of styles from World, Classical and Latin music through to Jazz, Rock, Pop, and Folk. Honors Degree (first class) and Bachelor of Music in performance Classical guitar at the NZ School of Music. Member of many bands such as: YoungLife Vanuatu, TAHU, Jhan Lindsay and the Chatelains, Morphology and Sven Olsens Brutal Canadian Love Saga.

Saptak is an upcoming tabla exponent of the famous Ajrada Gharana. Learning from legendary Ustad Akram Khan since the last 15 years. M.A. in music (tabla) and recipient of Ministry of cultural scholarship.

B.A. Hons., M.A., M. phil. in Music from University of Delhi. Senior diploma in music (Instrumental Sitar) from Prayag Sangeet Samiti Allahbad (Prayagraj).
Diploma Sangeet Bhushan in instrumental music from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh.
Obtained First Gold medal (J & K) in the history of 131 years of All India Competition of Classical Music (Instrumental category) in Shri Baba Harballabh Sangeet Pratiyogita held at Jalandhar (2006).
