About Paithrika Yogam

Paithrika Yogam with The Kochi Heritage Project, an informal interaction that encourages dialogue and discussion to understand heritage as seen and experienced by individuals in different contexts. We aim to engage with the history of Kochi, in various fields of culture, art and heritage trends, bringing together speakers from diverse backgrounds and experiences. These informal and engaging discussions are similar to traditional yogams/baithaks, giving speakers and the audience the opportunity to do their part in initiating a commune and to share their thoughts while reflecting on India’s cultural heritage and its infinite manifestations.

About Renjith

Renjith Leen has almost two decades of experience in print, digital and visual media. Based in Fort Kochi, he is an avid reader of books on history and has been passionately researching Indo-Portuguese history. He loves exploring the alleys of Kochi on his rickety scooter to unravel its deep secrets and colonial legacy. Renjith currently works for an American television channel as its Deputy Editor. Renjith has also served as the editor of The Week, Oman Tribune, The New Indian Express and Cochin Herald Media Network and is a seasoned creative writer and editor with a penchant for history, culture, cuisine and travel. Above all, he's an excellent storyteller.
