Mandalas have a spiritual significance and drawing them is extremely calming, meditative, and therapeutic. Drawing mandalas is known to relieve stress and anxiety.
In this workshop, you will learn how to draw a colored Mandala from scratch and also, how to make the process meditative. You will learn how to use colors to make pleasant colorful mandalas, the right color combinations, and how to use these combinations to draw the layers of the mandala, and how to focus on drawing the patterns to feel relaxed and calm.
Drawing a mandala does not require any prior art skills. Anyone can draw a mandala if you have the following things with you:
- A pencil
- An eraser
- A protractor
- A black fine liner pen. (A gel pen with a fine nib also works)
- Colored gel pens (different colors, a uni-ball pen set would also work)
- A transparent scale
- A compass (or rounder)
- A sketchbook or a paper to draw on
