About Sandhan Valley:
Sandhan Valley is a beautiful valley situated in the Western Ghats near Ratangad. Also known as the Valley Of Shadows as the major portion of the valley doesnt allow the sun rays to come in. This naturally carved valley is 200 feet deep and approximately 2kms long. Located near beautiful Bhandardara region, it is also surrounded by Alang, Madan, Kulang, Kalsubai, Ratangad and Ajoba forts. Along with breathtaking sights, Sandhan Valley also offers adventure seekers a chance to rappel down patches to reach its base.
Sahyadriking Trekkers brings you a totally new activity at our favourite Sandhan Valley. Alongwith with the 120ft Rappeling activity, this time we have also added Flying Fox.
Dates : 18th October (Departure on the night of 10th Oct) .
Height : 120ft of Rappelling and 300ft of Flying Fox.

Itinerary : 10th October : (Night of 10th Oct, Saturday) Catch the CST-Kasara train as per the timings mentioned.
10:50 pm - CST.
10:57 pm - Byculla.
11:05 pm - Dadar.
11:13 pm - Kurla.
11:18 pm - Ghatkopar.
11:34 pm - Thane.
11:57 pm - Dombivali.
12:07 am - Kalyan.
01:18 am - Kasara.
18th October : 01:30 am - Depart to Samrad by a Private Vehicle 04:00 am - Reach our base village ie Samrad . Proceed for some rest/sleep.
06:00 am - Wake up call!
07:00 am - Have breakfast.
07:30 am - Move towards the start of the valley and reach the rappelling and flying fox spot.
08:00 am - Commencement of the activities and the fun.
01:00 pm - End of the day, wrap up and start the walk back to the village.
02:00 pm - Lunch time.
03:00 pm - Time to say good bye and leave for Kasara.
05:30 pm - Reach Kasara station.
Cost: Rs. 1450/- per person.
