Mask Adventures: Backpack trip to Bir Billing (Paragliding) and Mandi (trek) 13th to 17th April’17

Let’s make most of the long weekend and head to an adventurous backpacking trip to Himachal Pradesh

About Bir- Billing:

Bir & Billing are twin destinations 14 km from each other. Billing is at the altitude of 2400 mt from sea level and considered as the second best paragliding take off point in the world. Paragliding here is totally safe and full of panoramic view of Dhauladhar mountain range of Himalaya and beautiful Kangra valley.

About Prashar Lake:

The Lake on the other hand is 90 km away from Billing and is located at a height of 2730 m above sea level. With deep blue waters, the lake is held sacred to the sage Prashar and he is regarded to have meditated there. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and looking down on the fast flowing river Beas, this place offers a grand view to trekkers.

Tentative Itinerary:

Day 1 (13th April, Thursday): Reporting Time at Delhi Kashmiri gate 20:00pm, take a bus to Bir or Baijnath (Overnight Journey)

Day 2 (14th April, Friday): TGIF!! Fun begins...

We reach BIR today Morning. Have breakfast and proceed for Paragliding. After some sightseeing from top (Billing), get back on the ground to explore Bir. Have lunch, then leave for Mandi. Overnight in Homestay at Mandi, rest before next adventure.

Day 3 (15th April, Saturday): Beautiful Prashar lake trek: Ascend to Prashar Lake, reach atop and enjoy the grand view of Himalayas. Set up camp beside the lake under the stars, campfire and fun.

Day 4 (16th April, Sunday): Wake up with the beautiful sun rise After breakfast, start descending for about 3 hours and reach base village i.e. Baggi. Travel to Mandi by road. Reach Mandi to board the bus to Delhi, reach Delhi next morning.

Day 5 (17th April, Monday): Reach Delhi in the morning. Trip ends here with loads of happy memories and friends to cherish.

Costing:

Rs.10900/- per person

Advance: Rs.4000/- (Non-Refundable) to book Activities & Travel.
