Marine walk at Juhu Beach

 The Beach is home to both- rocky and sandy shore sea life. We will meet at the entrance of the beach and after a short introduction about the walk will begin at 8.00 AM

At low tide, the sea rolls back to reveal a hidden marine world. On this shore walk, we will explore the rocky and sandy parts of Juhu beach at low tide, and take a peek at these habitats and the creatures that call them home: from diverse marine wildlife like crabs, sea snails and more -- to the many shore birds that come here to feed.

Meeting time: 7:45 AM

Start time: 8:00 AM

Safety & Precautions:

1. All participants must be over 10 years old.

2. We will be walking in an area with sharp rocks. Wear protective shoes/sandals only. Monsoon footwear is a good choice. Crocs are ok tooSlippers or flip-flops are strictly prohibited.

3. No handling of any animal is allowed as some species found on our shores can be very harmful and even fatal to humans.

4. Shore walks are always at the mercy of the weather.Please bear with us if we have to change/ cancel it at the last minute

5. Please carry a cap and wear adequate clothing.

6. Carry water to keep yourself hydrated and snacks if you are hungry.
