Lokmat is thrilled to announce the 7th edition of biggest running events in Maharashtra. MahaMarathon promises the seriousness of a sporting event and the celebration of all the hard work that goes into making that run Maha.. With great attention to detail and the support of the entire city, Maha Marathons are a pleasure to be part of.

Race Categories :

● 21 KM RUN – Rs.1500/- + Taxes, Runner kit : T-shirt, Timing Chip, Goodie Bag, Medal, Finisher certificate, Breakfast.

● 10 KM RUN - Rs.1200/- + Taxes , Runner kit : T-shirt, Timing Chip, Goodie Bag, Medal, Finisher certificate, Breakfast.

● 05 KM RUN - Rs.700/- + Taxes, Runner kit : T-shirt, Goodie Bag, Medal, Breakfast.

● 03 KM RUN - Rs.700/- + Taxes, Runner kit : T-shirt, Goodie Bag, Medal, Breakfast

*18 to 35- Men/Women (Open Category) Please note- If the Participant age is less then 1 day from turning into 36 age on the day of Marathon, He/She would be considered in open category only.

*36 to 45- Men/Women (Neo Veteran Category ) Please note- If the Participant age is less then 1 day from turning into 46 age on the day of Marathon, He/She would be considered in Neo Veteran category only.

*46 Above - Men/Women ( Veteran Category) - Please note - If the participant is turning 46 on the day of Marathon. He/ She would be considered in Veteran Category Only.

*Important Instruction - Minimum 5 participants are required to open for Foreign Nationals and Defense category, If not then participant would be eligible to run for given other respective categories and would be entitled for Prize.

City information:

Thane is a city just outside Mumbai, in the western Indian state of Maharashtra. It’s known as the ‘City of Lakes’, and its more than 30 lakes include tree-lined Upvan Lake, a popular recreational spot. Beside Talao Pali Lake, Kopineshwar Mandir is an old, domed Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. To the west, leopards, monkeys and parakeets inhabit the teak forest and bamboo groves of Sanjay Gandhi National Park

Runners who have taken both doses of the vaccination can only register for the event.

Refund Policy :

In case of cancellation or postponement of the event due to covid related lockdowns and reason beyond our control, alternate options will be offered to registrants to participate in our upcoming events. It means the registration fees are non refundable but can be adjusted in our future events.
