Lexathon 2.O

Lexathon 2.0 is an amalgamation of a 2km 5km 10km &15km Marathon with the motto “REACH THE UNREACHED” in Chennai. Students Parents faculty marathon runners and other community members will gather together to help raise funds for promoting legal education for underprivileged students who are potential future attorneys striving to reach their dreams.

The funds raised from this marathon will go towards achieving the aims and objectives of IDIA.

RISE and RUN.

Agenda:

We have four categories pertaining to Lexathon 2.0 out of which;

1) 2km is for kids Under 12 years :

Deliverables: Finisher Medal, Bibs, Certificates authorised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports affairs, Refreshments and Breakfast.

Above 12 years and Open category:

 2) 5km -

Deliverables : T-Shirt, Finisher Medal, Bibs, Certificates authorised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports affairs, Refreshments and Breakfast.

Above 12 years and Veterans Category:

3) 10km-

Deliverables : T-Shirt, Finisher Medal, Bibs, Certificates authorised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports affairs, Refreshments and Breakfast.

4) 15km -

Deliverables : T-Shirt, Finisher Medal, Bibs, Certificates authorised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports affairs, Refreshments and Breakfast.

All the winners and runner ups will be awarded for all categories.

Terms and Conditions:

• Kindly arrive 10 minutes prior to the reporting time.
• Participants must personally appear for collecting the running Bibs when they are notified . Bibs can be distributed in-absentee with written consent of the registered runners.
• Mandatory service provider fee of Rs.10+3% of the registration cost will be added to the cost of the ticket. This service fee will not be diverted to the LEXATHON Account.
• Any notice sent to the email address registered with the organizers shall be deemed as received by the runners.
• No Alcohol/ or any drugs are allowed inside the premises.
• You shall consult your physician and undergo a complete medical examination to assess your suitability to participate in the event.
• In an unfortunate situation, where the marathon doesn’t happen due to insufficient sponsors, 90% of ticket cost will be refunded.
• We request the runners to maintain proper decorum and adhere to all the rules provided by the organizing Committee.
• You agree that LEXATHON 2.0 shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the event.
• You also agree to stop running if instructed by the Race director or the medical staff or by the aid station volunteers.
• You confirm that your name and media recordings taken during your participation may be used to publicize the event.
