Bleed, for it's an act
Of the spirit
That keeps us alive...
Bleed is a collection of poems by Vipul Rikhi, tender and visceral, subtle yet brutally honest. Published by Hawakal Publishers, Bleed will be launched at Atta Galatta in Bangalore. Vipul will read some of his poems and will be in conversation with Shabnam Virmani, who has engaged deeply with his poetry.

About the author:
Vipul is an un-pin-downable free spirit — a traveller, poet, novelist, singer, dancer, meditator, and seeker. Over the years he has cultivated a deep taste for the ordinary, an ability to savour the simple in each moment. A man’s true wealth is his “time,” Vipul says, and he stays resolutely “rich” in this regard. He has been fellow for literature at the Akademie Schloss Solitude in Germany in 2010-11, and has published a novel (2012 Nights), a book of poems in Germany (Solitary Beyond Time), and short stories. Since 2012 Vipul has plunged into the world of Bhakti poetry and music with the Kabir Project, doing translations and original writing for two forthcoming books and a web archive.
Shabnam Virmani is a well-known filmmaker, singer and director of the Kabir Project, based in Bangalore.
