Lakeside camping + Junaraj boating + Devhatra trekking

We are pleased to announce our another expedetion for winter. An exquisite camping location, total ~15 km of boat trip and a trek to 790 m altitude, are all set to thirll you.

Here is the full details of the trip.

Covered places:

Dabheri(Mandan) Village - CAMPING : This beautiful village situated on the bank of Karjan reservoir is very popular destination for Bhojpuri and Gujarati film shooting. A night stay at such place in tents is a long lasting memory.

Junaraj - BOATING : This place has historical importance as it was once a capital of Rajpipla kingdom. We can still glimpse the ruins of the fort, mostly sugmerged in karjan reservoir. There is also an ancient Lord Shiva temple.

Devhatra - TREKKING: There was once a fort at an altitude of ~790 m. We can stil see some ruins at the top. It also provides breathtaking views of Sardar Sarovar Dam , Holy Narmada river and Karjan Dam. It normally takes 2-3 hr to climb and 1-1.5 hr for descend.

Trip short detail:

- Night stay at Dabheri village (Lakeside campsite) on Saturday

- Campsite to Junaraj via boat on Sunday morning (~7-8 km)

- Junaraj to Uplu Junaraj via shared transportation (30 min)

- Trek starts at Uplu Junaraj (2-3 hr climb. 1-1.5 hr descend)

- Uplu Junaraj to Junaraj via shared transportation

- Junaraj to Campsite via boat

- Good Bye

Detailed Itinerary:

Saturday:

3:00 pm – Reporing at campsite. Roam around.

5:00 pm - Soup will be served.

7:00 pm - Dinner.

- Dinner- followed by group activity

- Barbeque + Music

Sunday:

6:00 am – Wake up.

7: 00 am – Tea + Breakfast

8:00 am – Pack Lunch

8:30 am – Start for Junaraj via boat

9:30 am – Junaraj to Uplu Junaraj

10:30 am – Start trek

1:00 pm – Reach top. Lunch.

2:00 pm - start descend.

3: 30 pm: reach Uplu Junaraj.

3: 45 pm: Uplu Junaraj to Junaraj

4:45 pm : Return to campsite in boat as sun sets in west.

6:00 pm – Reach campsite.

- Light Dinner will be served.

- Participants can leave for home.
