Event Information

Kote betta is the third highest peak in Coorg after Tadiyandamol and Brahmagiri.

Kotebetta means “Fort Hill” cause of its fort-like appearance.Its height above sea level is 1620 meters (5313 ft) It lies near the border between the Dakshina Kannada and Coorg districts. Beginning on an asphalted road, you gradually enter the thick forest which leads to the Summit. Enroute , visit the Shiva temple.

Reach Kotebetta peak and pitch tents. Unwind for bit and witness the mesmerizing sunset. Arrange for Campfire . Sleep in the tent . Wake up to a beautiful Sunrise. Freshen up, have packed breakfast and start descending from the peak

Also Visit Mallalli Falls and Honnamana kere – Lake Is said to be biggest lake in Coorg. A temple is built adjascent to the lake and is built for Goddess Honnamma who sacrificed her life for the welfare of the people. Honnammakere is surrounded by beautiful mountains,Cliffs and coffee Plantations and 2 Hills Gavi betta and Mori betta. One can find man built caves which are believed to be built by Pandavas.

Friday Night Start from bangalore

Day -01

Reach Homestay – Breakfast- start to Mallali falls enjoy the water falls for an hour and walk down the bamboo bridge – Lunch at Homestay - Rest a while

5 km off road jeep – Start to Kotebetta Trek- Sunset – stay overnight at Kotebetta- campfire followed by dinner

Day -02

Leave kotebetta – return in Jeep- Reach Homestay- Breakfast

Visit to Honnamana kere- Lake

Start to Bangalore

Rules and Guidelines:

*No Alcohol or loud Music

*Strictly no plastics to be thrown

*All participants have to fill forms before boarding for the trip

* All participants must follow the operators instructors and must not stray away from the group


Refund policy:

No refund for those who show up after booking

No refund on cancellations happening 2 days before or the day the trip starts

50% refund for those who cancel their bookings 3 days before the trip commences
