KOTA JUNIOR CYCLOTHON -SEASON 2

OVERVIEW-

Let's introduce your child to cycling. Have you recently visited The New Bypass Flyover or been on the wide streets of Kota in the morning ? If the answer is yes, you must have seen umpteen number of cyclists riding like a gush of wind around the city and giving you cycling goals.

But there is one more important thing to notice, most of these people are adults. To change this scenario in the Chambal city, for the first time ever, we are going to see an all-Children cycling event - “The Kota Junior Cyclothon"-Season 2. Vision is to infuse a sporting culture at the grassroots by recognizing and utilizing Cycling as an important and sustainable sport for the holistic development and social integration of all children and to ensure they understand the importance of sport in one’s life.

The Vidhyanjali Academy feels proud to announce “The Kota Junior Cyclothon"-Season 2, a day’s cycling festival on 15th Dec. 2019.

This day extravaganza is scripted to give you a fairy tale experience.Those who’d love to relive the bygone Childhood by pedaling through.

 An initiative by Vidhyanjali Academy of cycling is scheduled for 15th Dec. 2019, aims solely at increasing awareness of the importance of health, environment and to top it all – Kids Fun Ride, A Healthy and safe competition. All children from age group of 7 years to 17 years are invited to bring their cycles and embark on a 7.5-km and 15 km ride from Vidhyanjali Academy and back. And guess what ? Even if you don’t know how to ride a cycle or don’t want to ride it, you are most welcome as we have other things to let your wings fly .

Fun paddling :- Children love cycling, its fast & fun & give them freedom & independence & you don’t need to wait until your kids are old enough to ride themselves. To start enjoying the benefits of cycling Vidhyanjali Academy is giving young children an opportunity to cycle & in fact this can be 1st of the best time to cycle In fun paddling children will be experiencing their physical fitness, their health benefits above all the fun of riding on vacant roads in open & fresh air where in hydration points will be serving them. Morning energy drinks & some munching to eat to let them enjoy their first fun ride paddling.

Timed race :- A cycle event consist of start, split points (or laps) can be timed as the rider passes through the same timing point & result can present ranking based on laps & time. Time chips will be installed on cycle & t – shirts & time monitor will be installed at starting point and half way through, so as in when rider starts the race the time is monitored, as rider passes by from monitor chips.

This will help in giving fair result.

The flag-off is at 6:00 am on 15th Dec. 2019, and everyone is invited to come and cheer the cyclists on! We’d like to remind you, though, that the only people riding the track will be children. To add to the excitement, the event will begin with a music morning and will see refreshments, selfie stands and cycling awards .

KJC(The Kota Junior Cyclothon) is an effort to raise the interest of children in cycling all over Kota and bring cycling into the popular culture as a viable means of transportation. The benefits of cycling extend beyond just the physical to even improve mental health, and its positive effects are especially profound among children.

It is said that 'Sport builds Character' of an individual. The grit, the determination & an indomitable will with a never give up attitude. cycling is a sport that is symbolic with this spirit of never giving up & pushing your limits to the core. Vidhyanjali Academy brings you Kota Junior Cyclothon its 2nd Edition on sunday, 15th Dec. 2019. Come and experience a scenic run across a mix of trail and road.

Event Details:

Venue: Vidhyanjali Academy, Khade ganesh Ji Temple, Bandha Dharampura Road, Opp. NH – 76, Kota 324005

Fun Riding Catagory: 7.5km

Race Catagory: 15Km.

Registration Fees: 7.5km – 200/- 15km – 400/-

Age Groups: 7 -10, 10- 13, 13 -15, 15- 17 Years.

Note:

Registration Fees includes Hydration Support / Half KM, Breakfast, Medal, Participation Certificate.

Registrations accepted till the last date (5th Dec. 2019) or as long as the spots last, whichever is earlier.

Bib Distribution will be at Vidhyanjali Academy on 14th Dec. 2019 from 9 AM to 2 PM.

Terms and conditions:

Please choose the event category carefully based on your fitness level.

2. Information sent to the participants on email address registered with the organizers shall be deemed as received by the runners.

3. You/Parents/Guardians take full responsibility for participating in the event and do not hold organizer / event management agency/other allied entities responsible for any injury or accident.

4. You/Parents/Guardians shall consult your physician and undergo complete medical examination to assess your suitability to participate in the event.

5. You/Parents/Guardians also assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and the condition of the road, arson or terrorist threats and all other risks associated with a public event.

6. You/Parents/Guardians agree that organizer shall not be liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the event.

7. You/Parents/Guardians agree to abide by the instructions provided by the organizers from time to time in the best interest of your health and event safety.

8. You/Parents/Guardians also agree to stop cycling if instructed by the event organizers.

9. You/Parents/Guardians confirm that your name and media recordings taken during your participation may be used to publicize the event.

10. You/Parents/Guardians may acknowledge and agree that your personal information can be stored and used by organizer, event management company and other sponsors or any other company in connection with the organization, promotion and administration of the event and for the compilation of statistical information.

11. You/Parents/Guardians confirm that, in the event of adverse weather conditions, major incidents or threats on the day, any of the force major or restriction by authority, the organizers reserve the right to stop/cancel/postpone the event. You understand that confirmed registrations and merchandise orders are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified. The organizers reserve the right to reject any application without providing reasons. Any amount collected from rejected applications alone will be refunded in full (excluding bank charges wherever applicable)

12. If for any reason You/Parents/Guardians cannot turn up for bib collection or on race day, you would not be allowed to run and no refund of any form will be given.

13. If this registration is being made on behalf of a minor, you confirm that you are the parent/guardian of the child and that he/She has your permission to take part in the event. You further accept that all the above rules shall apply to him/her as if he were a major.

14. Registrations accepted till the last date (5th Dec. 2019) or as long as the spots last, whichever is earlier.

15. You/Parents/Guardians will be Registered with Vidhyanjali Academy for further Communications without any Obligation.

16. No parents/guardian/any other accompanying child will not be strictly allowed to run or walk with the child at the time of the event.

17. No children will be strictly allowed to ride the cycle with support wheel.
