Kodachadri Trek- Wanderophile

Nestled amidst the Western Ghats of Karnataka, Kodachadri stands at an height of 1343 meters above sea level. The trek trail comprises of everything that a nature lover can ask for from dense jungle trails and a beautiful waterfall to lush green meadows and scenic landscapes. Add to this a couple of other beautiful places to explore and the company of like-minded travelers, you're sure to come back with lots of wonderful memories and an invigorated 'you'.

​​Board the bus, get to know fellow travelers and leave Bengaluru by around 9.30 PM, Thursday.

​​​Day 1​

Reach home stay near Kodachadri

​​Fresh up and load some breakfast

​​​Start trek

​First pit-stop at Hidlumane waterfalls

​Lunch time, reach peak

​​Jeep ride back to homestay

​​Chai 

​​​Campfire and Dinner, Sweet dreams :)

Day 2​​

Wake up to the chirping of birds

​​Get fresh- have breakfast and leave the homestay

​​​Visit Nagara Fort

​​Start return journey

​​Reach Bengaluru by around 9.30 PM, Saturday.

​​​Trek Difficulty- Moderate

Cost- Rs.3399/- per person (includes travel to and fro Bengaluru, trekking permission and guide charges, jeep ride, access to first aid kit, multi-sharing accommodation, 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, & 1 dinner)

​​​​Note: This is a no-frills trip to a relatively remote place, therefore, food will be basic. 

​​​Alcohol, smoking, or drugs are not permitted on any of our trips.

Things to carry

​​Don't worry about packing too much or too little. Here's just everything that you need to carry- a rucksack, a water bottle, torch, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, personal medicine, a pair of clothes, undergarments, socks, a towel, toilet kit, portable charger, flip-flops, hiking shoes. And, a camera to capture the memories (optional).

Don't forget to bring loads of enthusiasm :)

 

​​​Cancellation Policy:

• In case you are not able to join the trip you have booked, you can always choose to join any of our future trips within 1 year of the trip date without taking a refund. No cancellations charges will charged in this case.

• If cancellations are made within 7-15 days before the start date of the trip, 10% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellations are made within 3-6 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellations are made within 0-2 days before the start date of the trip, 45% of total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such case we will try our best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However no refund will be provided for the same.
