Located in Shivamoga district kodachadri peak at an elevation of (1343m) is a must-do on every trekker and adventure enthusiasts bucket list. Thick forests beautiful sunsets and open grasslands make this an ideal trekking destination.
Start your trip on Friday night after boarding the vehicle from the pickup locations which will be informed before the trip. We will reach kantihole village in Hosanagar taluk in Shivamoga district early in the morning, one can freshen up have breakfast and head to the base of kodachadri.
While on the trek we cross hidlumane falls and thick jungle trails of the Western Ghats. Once we reach the peak we can visit the Sarvagna Peeta Shankaracharya Temple. The Temple is constructed on the site where Sri Adi Shankaracharya is supposed to have meditated and offered his worship to Devi Sarawati.
The total trek distance is 11 KM one side.

Day0: Transportation
Pickup from Bangalore – Indiranagar, Domlur and MG Road

Have Dinner before boarding the vehicle
Begin your overnight journey to Kodachadri.
Day1: Day of the Trek
Reach early morning to the homestay and freshen up.
The first day of your trek; have breakfast by around 07:30 AM.
After having breakfast and take the packed lunch before leaving for the trek
By 08:00 AM, you can start trekking to the top of Kodachadri peak which is around 14Km one side (approximately).
Have lunch near to the peak.
Enjoy the beautiful sunset at the peak and descent back to the homestay by the jeep vehicle (self-sponsored).
Return to homestay Fresh up and have dinner later and enjoy an optional bonfire. Retire for the night.
Day 2: Return to Bangalore
On Sunday wake up early, have breakfast and visit Nagara fort on the way back to Bangalore.
Have self-sponsored lunch on the way to Bangalore.
Stay: –
Accommodation in dormitory or tents depending on the availability.
There will be separate stay for boys and girls.
We are implementing the below SOP's in order to reduce the risk of Covid-19 for the participants
1) The batch size will be limited to maintain social distancing.
2) Mandatory use of face masks and gloves by the trekkers during the entire course of the trek.
3) Participants must maintain a distance of 6ft during the trek
4) Participants must carry a hand sanitizer and use it regularly for their own safety.
5) If Any member of the group shows any symptoms during the course of the trip or before, he/she will be advised to abort the trek.
6) The trekkers should not litter/spit/gargle during the course of the trek. They will also be strictly not allowed to share water bottles or any personal items.
7) The mode of transportation used will be filled upto 70% of the capacity maximum.
8) Before boarding the bus, all the participants and the driver will be screened for temperature and face masks will be provided.
9) All required information of the trekkers like Age,Phone Number and Home address will be recorded. A copy of Government Identification of all participants will be taken by us.
10) We will encourage all participants to follow respective Covid-19 Social Distancing Guidelines and State Government rules.
11) The restaurants and hotels we choose for meals/accommodation will be of high hygienic standards and made sure the place is sanitized regularly.
12) All our Outdoor Leaders will be thoroughly briefed with everything that needs to be followed. We will also make sure there are organizers during the trip who will take care of all necessary precautions.
13) Any trekkers showing symptoms will be quickly isolated and will be asked to abort the trek at any time.
14) All the vehicles,restaurants,home stays and equipment used will be regularly sanitized with disinfectants.
Please go through all the necessary Covid-19 Safety SOP's we have mentioned above and will be followed strictly by us. If there are any precautions we have missed or would like for us to implement, do let us know.

One plastic box if you want to carry energy boosters like Chocolate bars, flavored milk, should be carried without the rappers.

Do not expect luxury as we will be traversing through pristine and untamed nature.
No smoking and consumption of alcohol before or during the activity.
