Monks on Wheels presents you Mulki, a 2-day experience of the exciting session of Kayaking and Stand up paddle in the calm and still back waters of the magnificent Sambhavi River, scenic and clean beach destination and a glimpse of history all packed in an exclusive package to bring out the adventure junkie inside you.

Mulki is a small yet beautiful site, thanks to the majestic west coast and the hidden back waters makes it splendour of a destination. Be absolutely mesmerized by the natural beauty of the landscape.

Take a dig at history as we visit the 1000 pillars temple which holds some fascinating stories of a rich cultural past embedded in its eighteen temples.

Warning: You are about to read the most exciting section, a signature hand-crafted, Monks On Wheels experience. This is for people who want to join for some true adventure and unique fun.

Itinerary for the Event:

Day 0 (Friday)
1) We say bye to Namma Bengaluru at around 10 PM.
(Please have a light dinner. We don’t want you to starve!)
2) Our experienced organizers will keep you engaged with fun ice breaker session, a great way to bond with your fellow travellers.
3) Next up? Good rest required for the adventure in waiting!.

Day 1 (Saturday)
1) Reach the property at Mulki in the morning.
2) Check-in to your dorms and freshen up.
3) Enjoy a healthy dose of fruits and help yourselves with some hot Tea/coffee.
4) Test your manoeuvrability with a thrilling session of kayaking.
5) Return back to the hotel
6) Have a sumptuous brunch.
7) Relax and dip yourself in the soothing backwaters of Mulki
8) Enjoy a mesmerizing evening session of Stand Up Paddle
9) Return back to the hotel
10) Enjoy a healthy dose of fruits and help yourselves with some hot Tea/coffee yet again.
11) Gather around for the campfire (if weather permits)
12) Warm up, indulge in activities, or dance the evening away, hosted by our fun-experts.
13) Dig into a delicious dinner at the cafe (Self-Sponsored).
14) Sleep like a baby at our overnight stay in comfortable AC dorms with attached bathroom.

Day 2 (Sunday)
1) Wake up to the sounds of nature
2) For those who are keen on learning the basics of surfing can indulge in the workshop held by the surf club (Extra cost).
3) For others who think surfing isn’t part of your bucket list then we will be Kayaking to endeavour around a mystical island that surfaces only during low tides
4) Enjoy an authentic brunch at the hotel.
5) Return back to the rooms; freshen up and check-out at 11am.
6) Start the return journey to Bengaluru
7) En-route we stop at the famous 1000 pillars monument to get to relive the amazing architecture of ancient history.
8) Have a sumptuous lunch (Unlimited on food menu)
9) Start the return journey to Bengaluru. Wait, did you think the fun was over!!?
10) Sing along, dance to good music and play interactive games on the way.
11) Continue our journey back to Bangalore en-route a sumptuous Dinner (Veg & Non Veg).
12) Reach Namma Bengaluru in the night (around 11 pm) with memories of a lifetime!

i) Kayaking Duration – 2-2.5 Hours
ii) Stand up paddle duration – 2-2.5 Hours
iii) All activities to be done with proper gears and under expert supervision.
iii) Homely accommodation in comfortable AC dorms on 3-4 sharing basis with attached bathroom.
vi) There will be no refund for unused services.

Important Information.
1) You have the option to make your own transportation arrangements (car/bike/public transport) to join the event for which per person price: Rs. 4569/- (No hidden charges)
2) Partial payment of Rs. 3300/- can be made to book your slot. Remaining amount to be paid online/cash on the day of the trip
3) Monks on Wheels trek leads will have radio communication device as a part of safety measure
4) Comfortable accommodation will be in AC dorms 3-4 sharing basis with attached bathrooms.
5) A Whatsapp group will be created 2-3 days before the event where all the necessary information like things to carry, pick up points, time etc will be provided
6) We need a minimum of 9 people to conduct the event or the event might be cancelled with full refund
7) In an extremely rare scenario, due to unforeseen incidents like natural calamities, road blocks etc. or restrictions by the government or forest department, the itinerary might be changed/modified depending on the situation.

COVID-19 Safety & Guidelines:

Before the event:
1) Only register for the event if you don’t have any symptoms of COVID-19 from the past 14 days.
2) Try to avoid crowded places as much as possible once you register for the event.
3) If you develop COVID-19 symptoms after registering for the event, please do not join the event.
4) MW organizers will be checked for temperature and any symptoms of COVID-19 before joining the tour.

During the event:
1) Participants will be checked for their body temperature and pulse rate before the start of the event. Anyone with a fever/flu like symptoms, temperature and pulse rate above/below the average range will not be allowed to join the trip.
2) Meals during the journey will be provided at a good and hygienic restaurant. Participants may carry their own plate/lunch box/spoon for all meals provided during the trip.
3) Participants are expected to sanitize themselves regularly and wear masks at all possible times.
4) Avoid interaction with other groups or people outside of the event group.
5) If a participant develops COVID-19 symptoms during the journey, only the that person will be isolated, taken to a nearest hospital and arrangements for that person to return will be made. No one will be allowed to accompany that person.
6) Valid ID proof to be carried.

1. What is Partial Payment? If partial payment is done, how to pay the remaining amount?
A: Partial payment is an advance paid to block your slot for a particular event. Remaining amount of the event to be paid online/cash on the day of the trip.
2. What kind of transport will be arranged by Monks on Wheels?
A: Monks on Wheels will be arranging an Non - AC tempo traveller or a mini bus depending on the group size.
3. From where will the transportation be arranged?
A: The transport will be arranged from Bengaluru.
4. Where will be pick up points be in Bengaluru?
A: Monks on Wheels will be providing multiple pick up points in Bengaluru and the same will be conveyed with timings 2-3 days before the event.
5. Where should we join, in case we are coming by our own transport arrangements?
A: Once your registration is confirmed, Monks on Wheels shall provide the exact location of our venue 2-3 days before the event.
6. Is there any age limit for Monks on Wheels’ trips?
A: Monks on Wheels do not restrict on the age as each individual has their own capabilities. But we would strongly recommend you to contact us so that our travel expert can give you a better idea of the trip.
7. What kind of events are these?
A: These are group events open to all categories of people.
8. How safe is it for women travelers?
A: Yes, It is completely safe for women travelers. Monks on Wheels events are done keeping certain standards and safety measures. We will always send a minimum of two trip organizers for all our events (many of them women trek leads). 9. What is the ratio of Men & Women in your events?
A: Monks on Wheels usually have more women travelers joining our trips. However, sometimes the ratio will be almost equal.
10. Do you have women trek organizers in Monks on Wheels?
A: Yes, in fact most of Monks on Wheels trek leads are women.
11. What type of venue will it be for the overnight stay? Whether accommodation will be separate for men and women?
A: Monks on Wheels keeps certain quality standards where we provide venues like home stays or campsites that are good and hygienic with neat and clean washrooms.
And yes, we always provide separate accommodation for men and women.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:
1. If the notice is received more than 20 days prior to the event, 100% of the event amount paid will be refunded.
2. If the notice is received up to 20 days prior to the event, 50% of the event amount paid shall be refunded.
3. All cancellation requests made 5 days prior or on the day of the event, no refund will be made.
4. No refund will be made for any type of cancellation if partial payment is done.
