Kayaking in River Shambhavi-Adventure Junkie

About the Place:

River Shambhavi starts from western ghats and meets the Arabian Sea. River hardly touches any town or city. Away from population, river Shambhavi is known for its natural beauty.

Surrounded by dense trees, the river is the perfect gateway to nature.

We also get to see lots of Indian and foreign birds in the river.

It is one and half day long journey. Total distance is 30 km (including both ways).

Outline Itinerary:

Day 01: Depart previous night at 21:30, Reach Kayaking place by morning, get fresh up in a farm house and start kayaking the 30 km stretch. We will be camping on the bank of River Shambhavi near Inna village which accounts for 15km kayaking. Enjoy the nature with BBQ, music and fun filled activities.
Day 02: Get fresh up and start kayaking back to Mulki. Have lunch and return back to Bangalore.

Cost includes:

• 1 night stay in tents with sleeping bags.
• 2 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner and Snacks.
• Transportation to and fro as per itinerary (non AC).
• Local trek guide.
• Medical first aid support & emergency motor boat while kayaking
• Entry fees and Permission.

Things to Carry:

1. Trekking shoes
2. Socks – Extra pair
3. Toiletries (Sunscreen, moisturiser, light towel, lip balm, toilet paper, toothbrush, toothpaste).
4. Two water bottles: 1 litre each.
5. Personal Medications if any
6. Plastic covers/Water proof covers to keep wet cloths seperately and extra for when backpack is not 100% water proof.
7. Full sleeve shirt, Full length trousers/pant.

Confirmation Policy:

• The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 12 hours of successful booking.
• In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.
• Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking and a full refund will be processed.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

1. No refund for the cancellation made 7 days before the date of departure.
2. 50% refund for the cancellation made 8 to 14 days before the date of departure.
3. 100% refund for the cancellations made 15 days before the date of departure.
4. Instead of cancellation of the ticket, you can transfer your ticket to someone else with earlier intimation to the organizers.
5. Cancellation and refund policy may differ for each event. If they differ, the same will be sent to an email ID used during registration.
6. Refunds take max of 5 working days. Please cooperate.
