Kalsubai Information: It is the highest peak of Maharashtra hence earns the title as “Everest of Maharashtra” located in Akole region of Maharashtra. Peak is famous trekking destination near Pune and Mumbai. Government have installed railings and staircase on the difficult patches, which makes the trek easy to moderate for everyone. On top there is a small temple of Kalsubai maintained by local villagers. During the festival of Navratri, one can see line of devotees from surrounding area to scale the mountain. High altitude forest, valleys, and bhandardara lake views are mesmerizing. North of the peak one can see such as Ramshej, Harihargad, Brahmagiri, Anjaneri, Ghargad, Bahula, Tringalwadi, Kavnai. On the otherside one can spot Aundha, Vishramgad, Bitangad, Alang, Madangad, Kulang and Ratangad.

02:00 pm: Reach Kasara Railway Station and Lunch at Dhaba (on your Own cost).
02:30 pm:Start journey towards Base Village
03:30 pm:Reach base village.
04:30 pm:Start the Trek till Campsite.
07:00 pm:Reach Campsite
09:00pm:Have a Dinner.
Day 2 Sunday
06:00 am:Wakeup call
06:30 am:Reach Kalsubai top.
08:00 am: Have a Breakfast
09:00 am: Start descending.
11:30 am:Reach base Village.
11:30 am:Lunch at Base Village.
12:30 pm:Start journey towards Kasara railway station
02:30 pm: Reach Kasara Railway Station

Rules:
● In mountains & jungles, smoking attracts honeybees and one has to face dangerous "honeybee attack" where survival of the person is difficult, hence smoking is strictly prohibited.
