One of the excitement about living on an island is exploring the local market or Pasar in our neighborhood! For generations, Indonesians have bought our foods in the Pasar. It’s a place where people gather, share stories, sell foods from locally grown and produced foods from around the island and even from the Indonesian archipelago.

It’s a unique experience that we all have to try. Great way to support the local economy. Items that are sold in the Pasar are generally cheaper than the ones we buy in the supermarkets. You can practice your Bahasa and your bargaining skills, and learn where those foods are brought from.

Our Balinese chefs will share her family recipes with you, and challenge you to cook a few signatures Balinese dishes together.
