As Earth to Space transportation remains expensive, access to Space has been limited to very few governments and enterprises. Yet Space has transformed our lives for decades through GPS, Satellite, Internet, Television, Weather Forecast, Disaster Prediction and Response, Space exploration to understand the Unvierse and many others. Democratizing Space Technology and opening space for all will transform humankind like never before.

Come and listen to Pawan Chandana, Co-founder of Skyroot at IIT Alumni Centre, Bengaluru’s (iitacb.org) Third Saturday Monthly Meeting, on Saturday, the 4th March 2023.

Skyroot is a company that launched the first privately developed rocket into space, and Pawan will share his journey from KGP to Skyroot and give us insights into Skyroot’s mission of Opening space for all & its potential impact.

About Pawan Chandana

Pawan Chandana completed his dual degree from IIT Kharagpur in the year 2012, B Tech in Mechanical Engineering and M Tech in Thermal Science and Engineering. After working for 6 years with ISRO, he co-founded Skyroot. He has various publications to his credit and has been conferred prestigious awards including Forbes 30 under 30, Government of India National Startup Awards.
