Event Information

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) continues to gain popularity. By adopting RPA, organisations are integrating rule based processes with software program that do not require much human intervention. These are applied to systems workflow, ERP and databases.

Intelligent Automation (IA) is defined as the next generation in automation technology beyond RPA. Intelligent Automation (IA) engages technologies like machine learning and dynamic workflow and holds the promise of exponential value as it grows, make things simpler. It can integrate everything coming your way from services, new products, technology tools, business models, strategic alliances and ecosystems.

Adding rapid advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) automatically sees more interest in technologies that increase how well machines sense, learn and act.

Investments in Artificial Intelligence (AI) start-ups by venture capitalists have increased multifold over the last few years.

Although, there is growing interest in RPA, there exists lack of clarity on what the technology is, how it can be implemented and where it is going? Somewhere, it hasn’t kept up pace as such both from a delivery and expectation standpoint and remains a moot question.

This conference will be a center of experts’ power joined by leading AI & RPA practitioners across industries, who will come together to discuss:

  • Models enhancing RPA along with cognitive technologies to robotize end-to-end, to drive the cost saving in your automation journey.
  • How to make most of Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Robotic Process Automation technologies and extenuating common implementation pitfalls and how to establish a Centre of Excellence (C0E)
  • Some of the best practices at all levels of maturity across organisations and its impact on top-line growth.

How evolution of Intelligent Automation (IA) includes advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI), to transform the workplace, workforce and human potential.

Arit Kumar Bhiswas Intelligent Automation Pune
12:10 – 12:50
Quantum Machine Learning
Speaker: Arit Kumar Bishwas, Artificial Intelligence Architect at Whirlpool Corporation.
Topic Abstract: The recent technological advancements led us to rely on huge volume of data, and on the mining of useful information out of it. Many challenging problems nowadays require effective machine learning techniques. Performing any machine-learning task with huge volumes of data has high computational burden. Machine learning (ML) deals with the development of algorithms that can learn from and make predictions on data. At present, one of the most important challenges in machine learning is how to deal with model training with very large data sets (the so called Big Data).
In near future, classical computing will probably not serve the purpose due to its limitation with silicon technology. As the complexity burden will increase with the size of the problem space. We need a different technology which can handle this issue to process a huge volume of data in a more faster way. Quantum computer is the answer to overcome this issue. In this talk, we will discuss the field of quantum computing & quantum machine learning, and its recent advancements in the world.
Speaker’s Bio: Arit is having 12+ years of experience in research & development and 2+ years in teaching. He is a researcher, a technical writer and a hands on research & development leader in the field of classical machine learning, quantum machine learning, quantum computing, deep learning, artificial intelligence, and data science. He has published many research papers in the field of artificial intelligence and quantum machine learning. He is also an author of 2 book chapters in quantum machine learning for international publishers like CRC publication USA and Cambridge University Press. Recently, his one of the latest research work in quantum multiclass SVM classification algorithm generalized the quantum binary SVM classification algorithm (which was developed by a team of researcher in Google and MIT USA and was sponsored by NASA USA). He is also a member of review committee at Quantum Information Processing Journal, Springer Nature. At present, he is working as an artificial intelligence architect at Whirlpool Corporation. He is an alumnus of BITS Pilani, and at present he is about to finish his PhD (in writing thesis phase) in the field of quantum machine learning from Amity University.

Future of Robotics & Automation for the next millennium
Speaker- Abhinav Sabharwal, Principal Consultant, Trainer & Author at School Of RPA
Topic Abstract – The New millennium is era of the smart cyberspace that is becoming pervasive in its nature while connecting the next generation of ultra-smart Devices. More and more companies are implementing Robotics & Automation, and in 2019, the impact of Robotics & Automation will become broader.
Within organizations, Robotics & Automation will be used in more ways and across more processes than it is today.
One new aspect of this is that Robotics & Automation will focus on external, customer-oriented processes in addition to internal processes from this point on. Part of this will happen when Robotics & Automation implementations start to move from pilots and proof of concepts to real production. While many if not most large organizations have tested Robotics & Automation,
It’s truly proven its usefulness in many situations at this point, so more organizations will take Robotics & Automation to the next level. The area is rich for innovation at this point, and new applications will certainly emerge.
