Inshallah Babes

Inshallah Babes are an experimental punk band, with influences from lokgeet, sufi poetry, and queer and anti-caste literature. The Babes have been creating songs about everything that affects them. Whether it is musicking with the words of people’s poets, recounting a trippy dream, or talking about a trans person’s journey of overcoming shame, the Babes seek to awaken and move crowds, and leave them with a feeling of fulfilment. No one leaves an Inshallah Babes gig without feeling a shift in their soul and a new freedom of the body.
