Event Information

The IIT Bombay Alumni Association (IITB-AA) Pune chapter has been having networking functions at regular intervals to foster interactions between alumni of IITB & also amongst other IIT's & IIM's in Pune. The purpose of these is to facilitate serendipity, ie, the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way for which one needs to meet people.

The next function will be at the Devang Mehta Auditorium at Bhageerath in Persistent Systems on SB Road on the 23 Feb from 5pm to about 8pm.

There will be a Q & A with Nitin Gupta the Founder and CEO of FlytBase, Inc. (http://flytbase.com), headquartered in Silicon Valley, USA, with R&D office at BHAU Institute, Pune.

FlytBase is building the world's first Internet of Drones (IoD) platform to help drone integrators and operators scale their commercial drone operations. Nitin is a 2004 graduate from IIT Bombay and he received his Masters from University of Maryland, College Park, USA. He has over 15 years of experience in the automation and aerial robotics industry.
FlytBase was a recipient of TiE50 award at TiEcon Silicon Valley in 2017, and was a part of Cisco's Launchpad Accelerator. FlytBase is working closely with customers in over 30 countries, to build next-generation, smart, connected commercial drones.

Some other IITAAs & IIMAAs in Pune will be joint partners in the function to ensure more alumni from their institutes participate.

The function is open for alumni from all IIT's & IIM's. Every alumnus can also bring one other person who is interested in networking but is not an IIT or IIM alumnus.

Registration on IITB AA Pune Chapter website will be neccesary. Please register first on http://iitbaapune.in/2019/02/13/networking-event-23-feb-2019/. At the end of registration, you'll be able to purchase a ticket from Townscript.

There will be charges of Rs 300 per head.

A list of alumni who have registered will be available to the attendees after the event.
