IEEE Madras Section along with IEEE Madras Section Student Activities Committee and IEEE Madras Section Young Professionals Affinity Group presents State 1 of IEEE Region 10 Robotics Competition 2024.

Calling all aspiring innovators, engineers, and tech enthusiasts! Are you ready to dive headfirst into the fascinating world of robotics and leave your mark on the global stage? The R10 Robotics Competition 2024 beckons, offering you a golden opportunity to showcase your creativity, technical prowess, and problem-solving skills while addressing real-world challenges. This isn't just a competition; it's your chance to be part of something extraordinary!

Who Can Participate: Whether you're a lone innovator or part of a dynamic team of up to four members, the doors of opportunity swing wide open for you!

If you're an IEEE member, you're eligible to participate. Not a member yet? No worries! Non-member students can also jump aboard by joining IEEE. Additionally, teams with a majority of female members can qualify as WIE teams, adding an extra layer of inclusivity and diversity to the competition!

How many rounds?

3 Rounds: Brace yourself for an exhilarating journey through three action-packed rounds of competition!

Round 1: IEEE Madras Section organizes an event to showcase projects and Standout performers will then advance to the next round. The entry registration fee is 500/- per team and the venue for the event is Chennai.

Round 2: Where they'll face online evaluation by esteemed R10 Judges. Finally, the top participants will battle it out in the final round.

Round 3: Undergoing physical evaluations at the prestigious competition venue in Tokyo, Japan!

Competition Categories:-

In this dynamic contest, your current academic projects take centre stage! IEEE student and graduate members can submit their innovative endeavours without crafting new robots. Projects must be fresh, not completed before June 2023 or featured in prior R10 Robotics Competitions. Let your creativity shine and propel your project to success!

The robotics project must be innovative, suitable for practical proposals and with good potential for being commercially marketable. The eligible robotics projects can belong to any of the following broad categories:

1. Robots for healthcare,

2. Robots for humanitarian purposes,

3. Robot for educational/research purposes,

4. Robots for community services or community awareness,

5. Robots for tackling the climate change challenges or assisting with climate sustainability,

6. Robots for industrial applications and

7. Robots for world peace, for example, prevention of human suffering by landmines detection and defuse, surveillance and narcotics control etc.

Prize Pool of 12k:
