• The first step is to go to the password reset page of Outlook and click on “I forgot my password” situated at the top of the page.
• Then, you have to click on Next at the bottom of the page. 
• The next step is to enter the email address for the one you want to reset the password. 
• Choose email or text on which you want to get the code. 
• If you want to get it on phone, you will get the text message and if you want to get it on email, you will be sent an email with the link. 
• Click on send code and enter the recovery code in the text field in the center of the page and click on Next. 
• If the code matches the one you received, you will be taken to the password reset page. 
• Enter the new password and click on Next.
