Himalayan Beach Waves Snow Special

Day 1

Afternoon flight to Delhi from Mumbai/Pune. Transfer to Delhi Rohilla to board (15013) RANIKHET EXP at 2020 hrs.

Day 2

Reach Kathgodam by 0500 hrs. Get transferred to Beach Campsite by jeeps (enroute breakfast & lunch) Reach camp by late noon. Briefing, orientation and settle down in Alpine tents on the beach. Treasure Hunt around the river bed and village. Post dinner night trek along the river!

Day 3

Post breakfast split the team into three sub teams: Learning based exercises for day long - White water Kayaking, Angling & River crossing, Swimming & Slithering Beach volleyball at the river bed.

Day 4

Hike up (route finding based trek) to stream up in the mountainside forest. We follow a fresh water stream to reach a secret pool in the jungle. Day picnic lunch around the pool. Diving and swimming. Participants help to cook the meal. Return to the camp by early evening. Campfire at night.

Day 5

After breakfast drive to Shaama base. Reach Shaama followed by 3 km gradual trek to the Camp from the road head. Lunch at the village followed by deep relaxation on sunlight terraces, clear blue skies and spectacular Himalayan sunsets. Enjoy warm campfire in the middle of a snowscape! Overnight at Shaama.

Day 6

Prepare for a full day hike to the Kuna dhaar’s wide open meadows. The 2 km hike takes you through the dense mix forest of Shaama with spectacular view of the Himalayas on the right. Enjoy some light birdwatching in the pine meadows. Reach the meadow, collect firewood and prepare a forest lunch for the whole team. After lunch trek up towards the Bakua Dhaar on the top for a mesmerizing sunset. Dinner at the Shaama.

Day 7

Post breakfast hike down to the Shaama road head Pack up & drive back to Kathgodam to board overnight train (Lunch enroute) Depart from Kathgodam by (15014) Ranikhet Exp.at 2040 hrs for Delhi. Day 8 Arrive at Delhi Rohilla station at 0456 hrs. Transfer to Delhi Airport. Board flight for Mumbai/Pune.  

 Mumbai/Pune – Delhi both ways Air Fare.

 Delhi – Kathgodam – Delhi sleeper class \

 Local transfers by non a/c vehicles.

 Freshly cooked veg/nonveg food at campsite.

 Accommodation in tents

 Equipment and Services of resource persons

 Meals during travel to and fro.
