Visapur Fort and Lohagad are twin forts near Lonavala. The height of the fort from the sea level is 3,556 ft. Visapur Fort is larger and at a higher elevation than its twin fort- Lohagad. Within the fort are caves, and cisterns of water. The wreckage of a large stone-built house is known as the Peshwa’s palace. Meet at our respective meeting points and start our journey towards the base village of the Visapur fort

As we reach our Visapur Fort base village, we enjoy breakfast and have an introduction session to get to know each other and step ahead to make new friends!

We begin with the Visapur fort trek by ascending those water-filled stairs of the fort!

We start descending to have our late lunch and later, start our journey back home with a lot of fun and memories of having one of the most exciting and enjoyable Visapur Fort treks, and we checked it off the list!
