Heritage Walk with Ancient Street Games!
Aatli baatli footli! Been ages right since you played the old street games? Don’t we all miss it? Come, run down the memory lane with us! Yes, we always mean it literally! Walk down the colonial Bombay streets, learn some fun historical facts, play ancient street games like lagori, langdi, saakhli, pakda pakdi, kancha, kith kith, etc etc right in the middle of the night on historical Mumbai streets!
The person hosting the tour is a doctoral researcher, blogger, lecturer and travel buff! She has been a recipient of the European Union Funded Marie Curie Fellowship to complete her PhD in Literature and Films. She's taught in renowned schools across Mumbai and currently works as a Research Associate at the University of Mumbai and conducts heritage walks on weekends out of sheer love for the city!
When: 5th March, 11:30 pm (until approx. 2.30 am)
Places Covered: Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), Asiatic library steps, Kala Ghoda, Veer Nariman Road and down to Marine Drive!
Approx walking distance: 4 kms
Meeting point: Mc. Donald’s (Opp Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST))
Tour Cost: Rs. 600 per person
