E-Summit’21 : A Techno-Industrial Colloquium

We believe that entrepreneurship is the key that can unlock India's latent inventive potential. It will not only push India to the forefront of the world but also help raise the quality of life in the country. Continuing its efforts to promote innovative entrepreneurship and advancement of knowledge, and with a firm belief in entrepreneurship as the key to unlock India’s latent inventive flair, IIIC is going to organize its Annual Flagship event E-Summit, a 3-day Techno-Business extravaganza from 25th to 27th March 2021.

In the light of this very belief, I am writing to you, a proposal with an opportunity of making this edition of E-Summit to reach the next level. E-Summit'21 will be structured completely differently from previous editions and organized in virtual mode.

The last few editions witnessed some truly inspiring sessions by entrepreneurs throughout the country. Along with this, we also held a Business Plan and Incubation selection program apart from the Business Hackathon, that recorded humongous participation from all over the country. We host a variety of formal events like Workshops, Accelerator Program, Networking conclave, Student Intern Fair (SIF) and Expo, Product-Hack (36-Hr Hackathon), Keynote Talks, Panel Discussion, etc and a number of informal events like Pitchers 2.0, Bid It, Conquest and Biz-Quiz.

However, this time, we mainly focus on bringing the best leadership and experience to our doorstep from the most booming fields, with a blend of leading people from industry, academia, research and entrepreneurship, to really motivate the workforce community, envisioning students as well as professors of IIIT-Allahabad. Being in virtual mode, the event will be a conference/meetup of leading academic/industry people from different domains like :

FinTech and Blockchain Technology is undoubtedly the most disruptive one. In this era of cryptocurrency, startups are emerging in finance to create new solutions leveraging blockchain technology. We will invite people from these kinds of startups to share their views on the current scenario of industrial applications of this tech in finance and other advances in quantitative finance like algorithmic trading. Also we have a plan to organize a blockchain/cryptocurrency workshop from WazirX (India's Leading Crypto Exchange) and maybe a stock investment workshop a few days before the E-Summit. People from Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Blockchain Technologists, Emerging Entrepreneurs, Angel Investors, Venture Capitalists and Leading Quant people are on the radar.

AI, ML and applications of Robotics have been hot topics for a decade. Fields like Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning have almost arrived at saturation where anyone is capable of training a SOTA model sitting right at their homes. We will try to invite prominent speakers from most advanced organizations, universities and the IEEE society seeking the involvement of IIITA's Faculty and industrial collaborations. Panel Discussion, keynote talks and workshops are likely to take place on this day. Organizations like Nvidia, OpenAI, FastAI, HuggingFace, DeepMind, Facebook AI, Google Brain, Stanford Group, Landing.AI, Tesla, SpaceX, CERN, AWS, IBM etc. are some on the radar.

After the 2 fully power packed days of Biztech wisdom, we will dedicate our this day to entertainment lite, sustainable energy advancements, and holding some powerful mindfulness sessions by renowned personalities around the world to hopefully rejoice our minds. To mention, we plan to conduct workshops from Mindvalley (Vishen Lakhiani), Art of Living (Sri Sri), Isha Foundation (Sadhguru) also in the later part.

E-Summit 21: A Techno-Industrial Colloquium, is focused on prospects, the large participation from the community of entrepreneurs as well as the young minds, with an expected involvement of over 6000. The last few editions of Esummit have witnessed a huge footfall of over 5000 attendees from all over the country, including mainly students, mentors, speakers, researchers, venture capitalists, angel investors, CEO's of various companies including startups, and other such dignified personalities. Some notable ones include Mr. Ajit Balakrishnan (Founder, Rediffmail), Mr. Sandeep Kochhar(Co-Founder, BlewMinds), Ms. Kavvya Reddy (Ex-YCombinator), Mr. Artus Krohn Grimberghe (CEO, LYTIQ GmBH), Mr. Anil Chikara (Ex-Chairman, Startup India), Mr. Sandeep Jain (Founder, GFG). The main event has always been well accompanied by a stand-up comedy show and Acoustics night, featuring people like Jaspreet Singh, Samay Raina, Anshudhami Project and FiddleCraft. In lieu of this, we are dedicating our day-2 to mindfulness and entertaining lite sessions.
