E Tour 2017 - E SUMMIT IIT KANPUR

In today’s time of cut throat competition it is of paramount importance to create opportunities. Especially in a developing economy like India we need entrepreneurs who can make a striking difference in the economic scenario of our country. It becomes our prime responsibility to promote entrepreneurs so that they can create opportunities not just for themselves but for others as well. 

In light of the same and to promote the spirit of Entrepreneurship, Silver Scope has joined hands with one of the biggest “Entrepreneurship Cell” (E Cell) in the country (E Cell IIT Kanpur) as their “Entrepreneurship Development Partner – Chhattisgarh”.  In order to give exposure to students and budding entrepreneurs Silver Scope along with E CELL IIT Kanpur has jointly planned to take a delegation from Chhattisgarh of nominated students to IIT Kanpur In August 2017 and expose them to “E Summit 2017”.

The spirit of entrepreneurship is celebrated in the three-day summit at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. The energy unleashed at the three day summit by the convergence of brilliant minds in electrifying world of innovation will stimulate budding entrepreneurs. The contests ranging from B-plans, Workshops, Pitching to VC to Panel discussions will bring the best out of you:

 

• Facilitates interaction between students, industry experts, business leaders, investors and entrepreneurs who share the common zeal for being out of the league
• Showcases global trends in entrepreneurship and ways in which the Indian ecosystem is keeping pace with these trends
• Serves as a one stop destination to learn as well apply the skills needed to be an entrepreneur
• Provides a meet-up point for the youth to interact with their role models and learn from their experiences
• Acts a catalyst in introducing students to the world of entrepreneurship by providing them an opportunity to learn about it in a myriad of ways which include competitions, panel discussions, workshops etc.

Deliverables to the Students:-

1. The students will get exposure to E SUMMIT 2017at IIT Kanpur.
2. The students will get participation certificates from E Cell IIT Kanpur.
3. The students will be issued individual ID’s of E Summit 2017 by E Cell IIT Kanpur so that they can connect and get resources for maximum exposure.
4. The students will be exposed to various competitions, seminars, guest talks, workshops at E SUMMIT 2017.
5. The students will also get a chance to meet Angel Investors, and Venture Capitalists to get an industry insight on the same.
6. The students will also get a chance to meet entrepreneurs who are in their seed stage of start up.
7. The students will also get memorabilia from E Cell IIT Kanpur.
8. It will be a great experience for the students to discuss and ideate with probably the best of resourceful persons in the domain.
9.  The experience will really help the students to add a new dimension to their thinking.
10. The students who already have a Business Plan ready can try to reach out to investors for seed funding of their enterprises.

Deliverables to the college/Institution:-

1. The college will be awarded a participation certificate from E Cell IIT Kanpur along with an appreciation letter.
2. The college will be getting their networking and branding through the delegation at IIT Kanpur.
3. The college will be able to empower the students through this initiative and can persuade them to take up Entrepreneurship.
4. Initiative like this will increase the visibility of the college and foster its commitment towards promoting Entrepreneurship.
5. All the print and promotion material by Silver Scope will bear the name of the college with its logo.
6. Complete food would be provided to students on 1st, 2nd and 3rd September 2017 without any cost.

The Process:-

1. The college needs to identify interested Students as a part of the delegation. Faculty nomination can be done by the college which will be added to the moderator group to guide the students. (Financials for the faculty has to be taken up by institute or the faculty)
2. The participant’s details should be mentioned clearly on the registration form attached along with this letter and duly sealed and signed by the competent authority.
3. The deadline for the submission of the form along with the registration charges is latest by 12th August 2017.
4. Once the modalities are completed the college authorities will get a confirmation letter for the delegates.
5. Further communication will be communicated as and when required.

Delegation Charges include:-

1. 1. To and Fro train Travel (3 Tier AC) between Raipur and Kanpur.
   2. To and Fro local transportation between Kanpur Railway Station and IIT Kanpur Campus.
   3. Registration Charges at IIT Kanpur.
   4. Accommodation at IIT Kanpur Campus (5 days and 5 nights).
   5. Fooding during transit from Raipur to Kanpur will be borne by Silver Scope (1 Lunch & 1 Dinner).

Please Note –

1. Food charges will be borne by the delegates on 30th and 31st August 2017 at the campus.
2. Registration forms will only be accepted after being duly filled and signed by competent authority along with the registration amount.
3. Registration amount is non refundable.
