About: DIVEAGAR BEACH

Diveagar beach is situated in Raigad district of Maharashtra and is approximately 170 km away from Pune. The unique attribute of the beach is that unlike other popular beaches of the state it is very clean and tidy. The beach is also brimming with sports and activities like parasailing and surfing which will surely incite the traveller in you. While there are fewer food options around, one will find Konkani cuisine which will satiate your taste buds, making it one of the best attractions near Diveagar.

ROUTE: Pune > Pirangut > Bedgaon > Mangaon > Diveagar

PICK UP POINTS: To be shared 1 day prior to trek on WhatsApp group (Usual pick points: Eon, Viman Nagar, Vishrantwadi)

Day 1:

• First pick up at 5:00 AM (time may change per location)

• Breakfast on the way

• Reach Divegar by 2:00 PM

• Lunch In Diveagar

• Set up tents and enjoy dinner at sea shore

Day 2:

• Have the tea and breakfast

• Start Return journey by 11 AM

• Lunch on the way

• Reach Pune by 6:00 PM

(Please note: All the timings mentioned above are based on the previous experiences from the trek. Timings may differ. RNT TREKKERS will NOT be responsible for any deviation from the schedule given above)

BOOKING POLICY:

• Prior confirmation with payment is required by 31 Oct, till 7.30 pm

• Seat will be cancelled if payment not received by 31 Oct

• The participant receives a payment invoice via WhatsApp within 24 hours of successful booking

THINGS TO CARRY:

• Water Bottle: A saviour in many ways

• Munching Items: Trail Mix, Dry Fruits, Fruits, Laddu’s, etc.

• Daypack or Backpack: Travel Light & Organized

• Trekking Shoes or Hiking Boots: Walk the talk on your Hike or Trek

• Medical Kit: Personal Medicines, if any

• Extra Clothes & Shoes: 2-3 Pair of Extra Clothes and shoes or chappals

• Sleeping bag/Blanket/bedsheet

• Miscellaneous: Swiss Knife, Torchlight or Flashlight, Cap/Hat, Sanitizers, Masks, Sunscreen, camera, towel, etc.

DO’S & DON’TS:

• DO NOT throw Garbage & Plastic or litter around or near a water source or on a trek trail

• Use Call sign “Hello” “Oyee” incase if you are not in visible distance to the group

• Alert group against any falling object / rock - Recommended - call sign “Watch Out”

• Avoid wandering alone or click Selfie’s near the edge of an exposed valley

• Do not eat/pluck any fruits from the forest without trek leader’s consent as it could be poisonous

• Do not provoke or harm any animals, birds or honeybees

• Do not jump into a water body without trek leader’s permission
