Devkund night trek

Each year we have the best of night jungle hiking experiences! And finally, this year we have the pleasure of taking you on a night trek that everyone has been waiting for. The most popular trekking choice in the Tamhini Ghat area - The Devkund Trek. Are you up for a daring adventure ?

 It's going to be a night trek amidst scenic settings of a lush green forest near Bhira village. The finale of the trek is the Devkund pond. During monsoons the waterfall spouts out of two giant boulders and collects in a magnificent green-blue pool at the bottom . The pool remains in the winter and taking a dip in the water is great way to end the first half of our trek. Join us for a great weekend adventure!

 The Trek schedule:

Day1

Pick up : 11:00-11:30 pm – Pick-up from our selected locations (Along Blue Nile Restaurant to Chandni Chowk/ Wakad/Hinjewadi ).

Day 2

Reach Base village - Bhira by 3:00 am followed by briefing

Commence trek to Devkund at 3:30:00 am

Reach the Pond by 6: 00 am

Relax and enjoy the grandeur of the in the surroundings

Make chai on a chulha with our camp leaders and enjoy some light snacks

Start hike back to base village : 7:00 am

Arrive at base village : 9:30 am

Have Breakfast - Wada Pav/ Poha and tea.

Depart for Pune by 10:30

Stop for lunch on the highway at a rural home kitchen - traditional food (veg and non veg)

Reach Pune : 2:30

Trip Cost: Veg INR 1890 Non Veg 2100

Children only above the age of 12 accompanied by parents.

Trip facilities:

• Travel and toll: Pick up and drop off from our selected pick up points.

• Meals: Tea and light snacks at dawn, Breakfast and Lunch on same day.

• Packaged drinking water for the trip.

• Tour guides and camp leader’s expertise.

• Medical assistance if required.

• Dinner on day 1, evening tea on day 2

• Personal expenses (beverages and snacks)

Things to carry:

Please wear non-bulky full body clothing like track pants and full sleeve shirts

Good hiking or sports shoes

Extra pair of clothing – if required

Towel

Munchies and personal snacks

Torch with extra set of batteries (compulsory)

Binoculars (optional)

One water bottle – min 1 litere

We do not provide and encourage carrying any alcoholic drinks or substance; you will be at your own responsibly to leave the trek if found under any influence, without any refund.

Adventure camping and outdoor sports/ recreation is purely for nature lovers and not for party groups; we respect nature and do our best to spread the awareness about wilderness preservation.

Historic forts hold pride and valor for those who ruled there and we request you to show some respect by not indulging in any activity that will be disrespectful towards the historic figures and the present community living there.
