BDG LifeSciences (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. India is a Bioinformatics company and is conducting Training, Novel Research Projects, Workshops & Online Courses in technologies of Bioinformatics since 2010. To date, we have successfully trained hundreds of participants who were not only students but scientists, faculties, professors, company executives, etc from India and other countries. We are the first to launch a workshop and training course (Online & Onsite) on CRISPR/Cas 9 in May 2017 and since then did it successfully several times. Now advancing in the technology after several successful international workshops before COVID, we are glad to announce a 2-day Technical Hands-on Bioinformatics Workshop after COVID in CRISPR based Gene Therapy in Bengaluru, India. Currently, CRISPR/Cas9 based Genome Editing is becoming one of the most promising tools for treating human genetic diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, neuro-disorders, and cancers. CRISPR technology is 80% wet lab and 20% computational, we cover the computational part.

It will be an extensive 2-day training program for which participants have to bring their own laptop for running the processes on their own computer systems- HANDS-ON. The course will be of great help to students/ researchers/ faculty/ scientists in learning this latest science and technology.

OUTCOME OF THIS PROGRAM: Participants will learn to design CRISPR based solutions to target genetic disorders. They will learn how to use bioinformatics tools to design guideRNA and repair templates used in CRISPR based gene editing. They will also learn to design CRISPR based Knock-out, Knock-in, knock-down and knock-up of specific genes. Further they will learn software tools that offers fast and reliable analysis of CRISPR editing data.

Student & Faculty: Bachelor, Masters, Ph.D., students as well as Faculty and Professors from Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Immunology, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biomedical Technology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, Plant Science and Life Sciences.

Professionals: Biotechnology, Bioinformatics and Pharmaceutical scientists from industry, academia, and regulatory agencies. Hands-on exercises will be performed individually using software tools (no prior experience required).

• Thermal checking will be done at the time of entry for all days of the event.
• Participants should bring their face masks with hand sanitizers.
• Masks are mandatory and participants should wear them all the time.
• Bringing the laptop is mandatory to perform the tasks.
• While buying the ticket choose the right category of registration in which you fall. If you register under the wrong category then your registration will be invalid and NO REFUND WILL BE MADE IN THIS CASE. This is your mistake and the company is not responsible for it.
• Once registration is done it is NON-REFUNDABLE/NON TRANSFERABLE.
• Please bring your PHOTO ID of College/ Department/ Institute/ University/ Company for verification.
• Please bring the PRINT OUT of the ticket which you have got after registration. We need a HARD COPY. Without PHOTO ID and PRINT OUT of ticket entry will not be given.
• Once you register we will send you Welcome email 5 days prior to the event. This email will have all detail of files, software, etc.
• You need to follow the instructions in the welcome email and prepare your system accordingly.
• If you do not turn up for any training session on any day then NO CERTIFICATE WILL BE AWARDED TO YOU.
• Timings are to be strictly followed- If you are late for more than 15 minutes from the start then you will not be allowed to enter on that particular day.
• The certificate will be given only when you attend all sessions and of the category in which you have registered.
• BDG Lifesciences (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., India reserves the right of admission in all our programs.
• If you are removed or your registration is canceled then there will be no answer to that. We have our own reasons for such an act of ours
• If we do not wish to give this workshop to any participant then we will refund their amount.
