What is Creative Writing?
Creative writing is an artistic expression. It is a written representation of your imagination. Creative writing goes beyond the boundaries of academic or technical forms of writing. It emphasizes on different narratives, character development, rhyme and poetry, short stories of different genres, scripts, advertisement jingles, etc.
This workshop introduces the students to various forms of Creative Writing, how you can enrich your script using different devices in the English language, use of figurative, imagery, re-phrasing sentences to enrich the language, how to craft gripping stories.
The students will learn the tips to create captivating narratives, how to set the tone and bring stories to life, how to invoke multiple senses, introduce characters with whom a reader can connect. They will be introduced to the basics of rhyme and how advertisement jingles are created.
These workshops are for two age groups, 6 to 9 years and 10 to 15 years. The content is tailormade, keeping in view the understanding and learning needs of the respective age groups.
