About Kaas Plateau.

The Kaas Plateau, also known as the Kaas Pathar, is a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site located in Satara district of Maharashtra, India. It's renowned for its unique ecosystem and vibrant seasonal wildflower bloom, making it a popular destination for nature enthusiasts, botanists, and photographers.

The Kaas Plateau is situated around 25 kilometers west of Satara town in Maharashtra, India. It's nestled in the Sahyadri Range of the Western Ghats, which is a biodiversity hotspot. The plateau is most famous for its spectacular display of wildflowers that bloom during the monsoon season, typically from late August to early October. The diverse array of flowering plants, including many endemic species, covers the plateau in a carpet of colors, creating a breathtaking sight.

The vibrant colors of the wildflowers against the backdrop of the Western Ghats make the Kaas Plateau a paradise for photographers. It's a place to capture the beauty of nature's artistic expressions.

DAY 1: (Tentative Schedule)

6:15 am Departure from Mumbai.

12:00 pm Reach Satara and check in for Lunch.

02:00 pm to 6:30 pm Depart to Thoseghar waterfall, Site seeing at Chalkewadi windmills.

07:30 pm Reach hotel.

7:30 pm to 9:00 pm Personal time.

09:00 pm Dinner and retire for the day.

DAY 2: (Tentative Schedule)

06:00 am Wakeup call

07:00 am Have breakfast and head to Kass Plateau

07:30 am Reach Kaas plateau and explore the beauty of rare and endemic species of flowers with our expert.

12:30 pm Leave Kaas to reach hotel for lunch.

03:00 pm Leave for Mumbai

06:00 pm Halt for snacks near Lonavala

9:00 pm reach Mumbai. Tour Ends here.

Inclusions:

1. Pick-up and drop from decided pick up points and back by AC bus.

2. Stay at a local hotel or equivalent (3-star hotel).

3. Meals form 1st day Lunch to 2nd day Breakfast.

4. Any entry fees, guide charges, and expertise.

5. Basic medical kit.

Exclusions:

1. Anything not mentioned above.

2. In-Room dining or extras ordered during your stay.

3. All packaged food and packaged drinking water.

4. Rates do not include anything purchased during traveling.

5. Rates do not include any tips for guides, drivers or resort employees.

6. Camera charges if any are extra as per equipment.
