Green Society of India (GSI) in Collaboration with Fit India Movement – GSI Cyclothon 2025

The Green Society of India (GSI), a leading not-for-profit organization dedicated to building a cleaner, greener, and more inclusive India, has partnered with the Fit India Movement to organize the GSI Cyclothon 2025 under the inspiring theme “Ride for the Next Generation.”

The event will be held on 16th November 2025 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi starting at 6:00 AM. It aims to bring together over 10,000 participants from families, corporates, cycling groups, resident welfare associations, schools, colleges, and everyday citizens to promote eco-friendly mobility, community well-being, and environmental awareness.

This collaboration is rooted in a shared mission — to inspire every citizen to embrace cycling as a fitness activity and sustainable mode of transport, thereby reducing pollution, cutting carbon emissions, and improving public health. The event will feature an 8 km curated fun ride, supported by hydration points, health support, route decoration, and full media coverage.

Highlights & Purpose:

Promote cycling as a symbol of environmental commitment and healthy living.

Create a platform for youth to showcase their talent and embrace fitness.

Support social causes: a portion of proceeds will aid abandoned elderly in old age homes and empower rescued, rehabilitated girls.
