*About Harishchandragad*:
The fort is quite ancient. Its origin is said to have been in the 6th century, during the rule of Kalachuri dynasty. The various caves probably have been carved out in the 11th century. In these caves are idols of Lord Vishnu. The carvings in the Harishchandreshwar temple and in the cave of Kedareshwar indicate that the fort belongs to the medieval period. Later the fort was under the control of Moghuls. The Marathas captured it in 1747.
Brief Itinerary :
Day 0:-
Catch Kasara Semi-Fast Local – Slow from Mulund.
10:50 PM – KASARA Semi fast Local from CST ) – Catch Second Compartment towards Kasara to get together,

- Mulund:- 11:30 PM

- Kalyan:- 00:07 AM
- Kasara:- 01:18 AM.
Participants who reside on the slow tracks request you to join with the nearby fast local station.
After Reaching Kasara all the Participants have to gather near Ticket Window post counting we will start our journey to Harishchandragad
Day 1
- Travel to Pachnai Village in the jeeps.
- Get down from the jeeps and 15 mins to complete nature chores.
- Post introduction.
06:00 am: Start Hiking towards Harishchandragad
09:30 am: Reach Harishchandreshwar Temple and explore and enjoy free time
12:00 pm: Reach Kokankada and Enjoy the Local food.
01:00 pm: Relax, Sleep in tent for a while
04:00 pm: Enjoy the Kokankada cliff
06.00 pm: Best sunset you will have ever seen from the 1800ft Cliff of Kokankada
06:30 pm: Tent Set up
08.30 pm: Music and Mafia Game.
10:00 pm: Dinner followed by Bonfire with a ghost story
11:30 pm: Sleeping time
06:30 am: Good morning and Enjoy sunrise
07.30 am: Windup and Start Descending towards Base village
10.30 am: Reach Base village and have lunch.
12:00 pm: Post lunch leave for Mumbai
05:00 pm: Reach Mumbai and disperse with Great Memories
Inclusions :
- Traveling from kasara to base village and return
- Breakfast
- Lunch
- Entry charges

Exclusions :
- Any expenses of personal nature.
- Any expenses which are not mentioned in the inclusions.
Things To Be carried:
- Identity proof (must)
- Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.(optional)
- A bottle of water (at-least 2 Ltrs) Compulsory
- Windcheater (Compulsory)
- TORCH with extra batteries Cap, etc.
- Medicine those if u require usually (Optional)
- Camera(Optional)
- A good trekking shoes, extra pair of floaters, extra clothes.
- A haversack to put in all the things to be carried so that one has ones hands free while trekking.
- Pleases do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
- Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.
- Rains are expected, so pack your bags accordingly to save them from getting wet. Double pack your valuables in plastic bags.
