Karnala Bird Sanctuary monsoon trail

Tentative itinerary: 

Bus pick up timings will be given to the participants 36 hours before the travel.

8:30 - 9:00 AM: Targeted time to reach Karnala Bird Sanctuary. Please carry light snacks or breakfast, as we will start with the trail as we reach the sanctuary.

9:30 AM: Begin with the trail. Enjoy the biodiversity of the place in the most fun manner. The trail will be lead by trained and experienced naturalist.

11:30 AM: Complete our trail.

12:00 - 12:30 PM: Enjoy locally prepared snacks while sharing your travel stories. Prepare to head back to Mumbai.

This Karnala Bird Sanctuary is situated near Panvel, Maharashtra. It's approximately 60 km from Mumbai.

The sanctuary covers an area of around 12.11 square kilometres and is home to a variety of flora and fauna. It is famous amongst bird watchers, as monsoon and winters attracts many migratory birds. But apart from birds you get to encounter species like langurs, butterflies and reptiles within its lush green.
