Tentative Itinerary

7:30 am: Meet-up at CEC-BNHS main gate (Borivali)

7:45 am: Head towards the Karvi trail

8:00 am: Begin with trail. Enjoy the surrounding flora and fauna and learn about it in the

most exciting way.

Highlights of this trail during monsoon is ephemeral flowers, arachnids like spiders and

scorpions, insects, beetles and butterflies.

10:15 am: End of trail.

10:30 am: Head back to the Main gate

Managed by the Conservation Education Centre (CEC) in collaboration with the Bombay

Natural History Society (BNHS), this trail provides a wonderful opportunity to explore the

lush greenery and wildlife within the heart of the city.

Walking along the trail, you will encounter a variety of plant species, many of which thrive

during the monsoon season. The forest floor is carpeted with ferns, mosses, and wildflowers,

creating a stunning mosaic of colors. If luck you get to witness many insect species and

monsoon migratory birds.
