Charcoal Art Workshop by Gunjan Daga

Gunjan Daga (@gunjandaga_arts) is a 27 year old Artist based out of Kolkatta. She works on realistic sketches and portraits. She is a commerce graduate but her passion lies in art. She enjoys dabbling different techniques and experimenting with various media including acrylic, watercolor, soft pastel and pencil colors. 

You will learn the following in this workshop:

1. The types of charcoal
2. The types of blending tools
3. Tips and tricks of working with charcoal
4. Importance of tonal variations and blends
5. How to improve observation in order to create a realistic sketch
6. Participants would make a complete sketch towards the end of the workshop.

1. 120 gsm A4 sheets( for rough work)
2. 120 gsm A3 sheet (for the final sketch)
3. Camel compressed charcoal stick
4. Camel charcoal pencil set
5. Eraser
6. Paper stumps
7. Masking Tape
