Buddha Painting Workshop @ Cat Cafe Studio, Versova, Andheri

Ami is a self-taught artist who runs her artistic venture, Paints n Palette which is a hub for learning arts. Her love for art is evident with respect to positive energy she radiates through her workshops and paintings. Just as the moonlight is the reflection of sunlight, her art is the reflection of divine light. 

Her next workshop is on 16th of this month where she would be teaching about making a beautiful Buddha Painting. The entry fees is Rs.1000 (including all materials). 

About Ami: 

Ami and Art both have a deep connection with each other. You can't separate Ami from Art or the Art from Ami. Both are interconnected like the moon and the light. 

She was born and brought up in the beautiful city of Ahmedabad. She shifted to Mumbai post her marriage. 

"I am truly blessed. My maternal and in-law's families are like a boon. Both my parents are my support system, and my kids and husband are my strengths. My father is the best critic of my work that inspires me to work better." She says. 

Ami was always passionate about art, even before she became a professional artist. She was always curious to explore and learn new art forms. She is an innocent child if she's learning art; an energetic youth when it comes to painting; and, a master when she's conducting an art workshop for her venture,

Her dreams are beyond the sky limits! She hopes to open her own studio soon where she can put her works on display, and even conduct free workshops for the underprivileged kids. 

"Art has no rules and boundaries. Don't paint with a pressure of selling, in fact, follow your instincts and let your hands flow on the palette." She suggests. 

Ami believes competition kills creativity. Therefore, one should always focus on following the soul's path and continuously improve.
