This month Books, Chai & More, the Raah Book Club will be discussing the book "Pyre" by Perumal Murugan.

 Saroja and Kumaresan are in love. After a hasty wedding, they arrive in Kumaresan’s village, harboring a dangerous secret: their marriage is an inter-caste one, likely to upset the village elders should they get to know of it. Kumaresan is naively confident that all will be well. But nothing is further from the truth.

The discussion will be led by Renu Iyer a visual artist mentor, Renu is a post graduate in fine Arts from M.S. University Baroda. Recently she pursued a post graduate program in Indian aesthetics & Art history from Jnanapravaha, Mumbai.
