Bazm e Tarab- An-evening-with-Kavish-Seth

Kavish will be in Lucknow on 12th September 2018 at Asante Cafe where he will sing his songs on guitar & Noori and will present his written work. 

He is Independent Singer/Songwriter/Poet primarily in Hindustani, English and has started to write in Russian as well.

He started a musical project Zubaan where we indie artists across the mainlands and different musical-linguistic scenes collaborate and perform our own songs across India. This has been helping us indie artists to make a bigger scene in a quite diverse country as ours, which is not restricted to cities but expands itself to the mainlands as well. Performances are been done from streets to stages, unconventional venues are used.  

Chapters have started in Odisha, Varanasi, Deoria, Kausani, Khetri, Nagpur/Wardha/Gadchiroli, Mumbai, Kolkata where around 30 artists have been collaborating and performing all across the mainlands.

He has done Instrument Invention: Noori- which is an evolution from guitar, rabab, and sarode.

Some of his Concept Gigs are-

Bolti Deewarein:- A concept gig where he wrote 100-150 pages in 2 weeks and then put them up in a venue room and convert that venue into my mind space. The audience experiences the writings and the songs in his mind space. Shayari, Kavitaein ( Poems ), Kahaniya ( Stories), Chakris ( Hieroglyphs, different forms of writings) are recited, some which shape up the songs, some that are independent by themselves. 

This has been performed 9 times in 6 cities of India - Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Varanasi, Ahmedabad, Pondicherry.

Hum :- It’s a concept gig on relationships and love which has been performed in 2 cities so far – Mumbai and Nagpur.
